Yes, I finally buckled to peer pressure and opened a Facebook. Within 20 minutes I was so frustrated at the endless garbage that the ensuing headache (and I am not generally subject to headaches ) sent me to bed! But I now have one, a personal one, and I will be adding a fan site at a later time which will deal with book releases and article highlights and such.
But let me lift this from the above topic: It shouldn't be too hard for anyone to understand that I would choose to write, not Tweet. As a message boarder from way back, I can tell you that it is entirely too easy to sit down and start posting...and look up six hours later ...
On the very face of my Facebook, I guess one calls it A Wall which means something entirely different to a Vietnam vet such as myself...but I digress...frequently ...I can post on social networking sites or I can write.

I am not accepting new Facebook Friends at this time, in actual fact I'm paring down my Friends List to encompass those people with whom I have real or Facebook relationship developed over time. I summarily drop and even block people who post material I find offensive or incorrect. This is a complex world, and I just don't like all the negative some people insist on posting.
Please don't send me a Friend Request unless I actually know you, and that does not include that you have posted here. If you wish to talk to me, register and send me a PM (Personal Message) by clicking on my name in any topic. However, if this is abused, you will be dropped from here as well. I don't live to chat on social media; I live to write the things I will be posting here.
